Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I live in British Columbia. I've been trying to learn what I can about solar energy. Sounds to me like you almost have to be an electrician, but I'm hoping there will be some easy DIY tricks that I can learn. Actually, there is a lot that I need to learn as I've spent my whole career in an office setting and don't have a lot of the same skills men were taught growing up. I've been working from home now for 5 years so I can live anywhere and off the grid. I want to be able to take care of myself..........with the help of these forums and other experts, LOL. Hi Jackie,
By contacting a local solar contractor, you can get help with putting together packages that can easily be installed by the DIY'er in an off-grid setting with just a little knowledge and some tools. I would recommend TerraTek, based in Courtenay, BC. Good luck! |
