I was wondering what the best way to plumb 6 collectors together.

The people at AAA Solar tell me to use 1 common input and output ports where all the ports are then plumbed together. and the cold on the far end to where hot is returned. Yesterday it was cold and cloudy and almost no heat was being generated. I was trying to heat 85 degree water to above 100 for a hot tub.

I was wondering if it might be better to instead of having 1 large common collector have 2 smaller ones having the hot from one feed the cold on the other.

I also think I'll need to slow down the water flow to allow the water to heat more effectively.


Any thoughts?
