Default Crazy idea

I own 30 acres. I want to be off grid. I MUST have air conditioning. Since 48" below the surface the temperature is a constant 58 degrees, what if I buried about 100 of 36" corrigated pipe with vortex generators along the sides and pulled my return air for my air conditioning to pre cool it before blowing it across the evaporator coils. Does anyone have any knowledge if this is a workable plan?

I have a 150 foot old well that I put a loop of pipe in. Then pump water thru this loop to a automotive heater core. This setup will hold two rooms about 5 deg. F. lower that the rest of the house. Also, these two rooms are on the south/west of the house and are 276 sq. ft. combined.

I would not do air, as this could pull in ground water vapor, mold, or radon gases, etc.

Wouldn't the ac coils pull any water out of the air, assuming there was water in the pipe?

Yes, but the water will take some of the cooling temp with it as it drains to the ground.

On days when there is condensation on my heater core, I notice a reduced air temp output.

Water holds about 30 times more heat then air. It is just better at moving heat around. Your system would operate much better if you used water and a heat exchanger.
