Default Coolerado Cooling

http://www.coolerado.com/

I love the sound of this product. A swamp cooler without the swamp!
You guys take a look and tell me what you think. The videos do a great job explaining the process and how it works.

Dew points in Indiana don't go much above 70 most of the time. If I cool the air down to the dew point am I at 100% humidity?

Well don't think it will work in your or my part of the country. Great for very dry climates like Arizona

This unit was on TV last night. If you can believe the advertising, it's awesome! They had it connected to 4 solar panels, I assume about 200 watts apiece, and it was putting out enough air to cool a 3000 foot home.

Is not a swan cooler but does not change the humidity of the incoming air so in high humidity climates will not be a good idea (well maybe as a pre-cooling)

We have a 6 ton unit. IT SEEMED TO PERFPRM PRETTY GOOD LAST SUMMER WHILE WE WERE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. With only one temporary duct run it kept our 1900 sq ft house comphy in record heat. Although it seemed to use more than the advertised electricity.
We will be in a much better position to give a report this summer and hope to put a kilawatt metter on it.

Default I would love to have some real feedback

Not that I can really get one in Indiana. But real feedback for others would be great!

If humidity is a regular issue Then the coolerado is definitley out. The performance does drop dramaticly as the humidity rises. We are in central Texas west of Austin and most of the time humidity is not an isuue.
Last summer was not a good test as we were not only in the middle of construction and living in the house but it was the hottest summer on record, I believe.(three months above 100 degrees average daytime temps)
This summer we will know a lot more.
It was an easy install as we purchased the m60 120volt model. Cut a whole in the crawl space wall (papercrete block walls) and ran one 18" flex insulated duct to center of house. Crack a window to the area you want the air to flow.
There is also a fair amount of water consumption. when ran the water discharge to a series of 20 gallon containers and the deer and birds loved it.
We dealt with Coolerado direct as there was not anu dealers close by.

Default Cost?

What is the cost of the unit at the time you purchased? What about any wearable items? (Replacements costs over time?) HMX have to be replaced?
Lastly, regular cleaning?
Thanks
