Default I need help picking an efficient grid tie kit

I've decided to install a small 1400 watt grid tie solar system my self. It will go on top of my garage roof. I'm looking for an fairly priced, efficient, good quality kit with good warranties. I have very little space available so I want to get the most out of it. The lenght of the roof is 19' but I can easly add a support/gusset rig to accomodate the entire rack. I can only have one 60" row of panels near the ridge due to possible winter shading. Here is a link to something that cought my attention and would be ideal for my roof. http://www.wholesalesolar.com/solarp...lect-1470.html. Thanks.

How much to ship it?

Don't forget our sponsor. They sell kits too. But that is a lot more to it then just buying a kit.

So then I assume you have checked with the local utility company, and local building code enforcement agency that you can DIY this?

I will definitely check with JCP&L anout Net Metering then I will obtain all required permits. My plan is to mount the system my self and have a certified electrician complete the wiring. Then I need to apply for a state rebate and eventually the federal rebate. Honestly, thr permit/rebate part seems very overwhelming. I haven't done any research yet because innitialy I was going to have a solar company do it. By doing it my self I would save about $3 per watt and and the installation does not seem too difficult. Would you guys discourage me from dealing with all of this my self?
